Pictures are my reminders of place and time,
Beyond the colors, shapes and light I see when taking these shots,
there is wind,
there are sounds or quiet.
There are smells.
Mostly these are not part of the picture.
They may surface in my memory when I see the image,
but mostly not.
So much in life I can not hold on to.
