It’s not about now many friends you have
or how accepted you are.
Not about if you have plans this weekend or if you
are alone.
It isn’t about who you date, who you used to date
It isn’t about whom you are with.
It isn’t about who your family is or how much money
they have
Or what kind of car you drive
or where you went to school.
It is not about how pretty or ugly you are
or what clothes you wear
or what kind of music you listen to.
It is not about the color of your hair or
If you’re skin is light or dark.
Not about how smart you are.
But life is about whom you love and whom you hurt.
It is about whom you make happy or unhappy
purposefully.
It is about keeping or betraying trust.
It is about friendship, used as a sanctity or as a
weapon
It is about what you say and mean, maybe hurtful,
maybe heartening.
It is about starting or stopping rumors
It is about judgments passed and why.
It is about jealousy, fear, ignorance and revenge.
It is about carrying inner hate and love
Letting it grow and spreading it.
But most of all it about using your life to poison or
to touch another
Persons heart in such a way that could have never
occurred alone.
Only you choose the way you affect other’ hearts
And these choices are what life is about.
