This little piece of nature Quechee Gorge is remarkable on a calm day.
In 2011 the hurricane that hit VT so hard flooded this area
like so many others in Vermont.
The building we were in Simon Pearce's where we watched glass being made
was torn apart
as was the covered bridge by the dam.
I pulled up videos of the storm when we returned home
Nature on a rampage is terrifying.
On a quiet day this river is more than impressive
It looks quiet but it runs swiftly.
